Long-Term Teaching Assistant – Autism; ASC

We are seeking a patient, committed, and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism (ASC) in a welcoming and inclusive school on a long-term basis. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children with autism thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

You will work closely with pupils diagnosed with autism, providing both 1:1 and small-group support depending on the school’s needs. Your role will include helping pupils access the curriculum, supporting communication and interaction, and using structured strategies to promote emotional regulation and independence.

You will work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure each pupil receives the personalised support they need.
