About the Role

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to pupils’ individual needs
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to deliver inclusive and therapeutic learning experiences
  • Build positive, trusting relationships that help students feel safe, valued, and understood
  • Support emotional regulation and behaviour management through strategies that promote self-awareness, resilience, and respectful interactions
