Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive school in Liverpool (L7), working with students who have complex and additional learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your skills and experience in a rewarding environment.

• Experience supporting children with complex needs and/or challenging behaviour.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Familiarity with non-verbal communication strategies and assistive technologies.
• Experience in moving and handling students with physical needs across varied settings (e.g. classroom, pool, gym, residential units).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning activities.

• Enhanced DBS check (child and adult) - must be current or willing to apply for one.
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma - essential.

The following qualification is preferred, but not essential:

• HLTA qualification or willingness to work towards it.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma
