Generalism is our Specialism, Manx Care provides a comprehensive general, colorectal and vascular surgical service to an isolated rural island with a population of approximately 85,000. Join our team on the Isle of Man as a Consultant in General Surgery, delivering high-quality general, colorectal, and vascular surgical care in a well-supported environment with strong links to leading UK teaching hospitals.

• Cover a wide range of general surgical conditions, determining what can be managed locally and when to transfer patients to specialised centres in the UK.
• Deal with emergency life‑threatening situations and perform necessary surgical interventions on the island.
• Lead clinics, manage trauma cases and mentor junior doctors while advancing surgical services and research.
• Maintain continuous professional development through on‑site education and training facilities.
