Position Overview
To assist in the running of the clinic dispensaries at Liverpool University Dental Hospital. A Band 2 Dispensary Assistant role in a busy clinic.
Responsibilities- Hand out dental instruments and materials.
- Stock control and maintain cleanliness in dispensary and clinical areas.
- Work closely with dental nurses and undergraduate students.
- Prepare the clinical environment under the supervision of dental nurses, including setting up dental units and instruments.
- Reduce cross‑infection risks by clearing used instruments and materials and keeping the treatment area clean.
- Distribute instruments and materials to nurses, clinicians and students.
Good communication skills and the ability to prioritise. Training will be provided.
