Mac Gregor Black is partnering with a high-growth specialist sports brand on the search for an Equestrian Product Designer
, based in the South of England.

This role sits within the equipment division, owning the design and development of performance-led equestrian products. Category credibility and rider understanding are essential.

• Lead design and development of equestrian equipment and accessories from concept through to production
• Translate rider insight and real-world usage into functional product solutions
• Specify materials and construction to ensure durability, safety and performance
• Collaborate with suppliers to prototype, test and refine products
• Conduct competitor and market analysis within the equestrian sector
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure commercial and technical alignment
• Maintain brand integrity and authenticity within the equestrian community
• Oversee sample reviews and testing to ensure product meets performance standards

• Strong equestrian knowledge and confidence operating within rider environments
• Understanding of materials, durability and functional performance
• Comfortable owning product end-to-end in a hands-on capacity
• Confident communicator able to operate credibly with equestrian stakeholders
• Structured and commercially aware mindset
• Passion for specialist sport and product innovation
