Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in the United Kingdom for an Asbestos Surveyor. The Asbestos Surveyor will be responsible for conducting thorough asbestos surveys, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations related to asbestos management. Additional responsibilities include assessing risks, providing professional advice on asbestos removal and containment, and liaising with clients and contractors.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to health and safety standards, and excellent communication skills to deliver comprehensive and accurate assessments.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in conducting asbestos surveys, risk assessments, and reporting
  • Thorough knowledge of current asbestos and environmental regulations, as well as health and safety compliance
  • Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and team members
  • Formal qualification in asbestos surveying, such as P402 (or equivalent)
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Experience in construction, surveying, or environmental sectors is an advantage
