Senior Estimator – Industrial Fit-Out

Salary: £80K to £90K (based on experience)

Magenta Recruitment are recruiting for a Senior Estimator for a leading fit out and refurbishment contractor operating across the UK, delivering high-quality solutions for warehouses, manufacturing facilities, logistics hubs and commercial fit outs.

• Review new tenders to ensure alignment with company objectives
• Distribute tender packages to competitive subcontractors within 48 hours
• Attend site visits and inspections to assess project scope and support accurate pricing
• Analyse subcontractor quotes, direct costs, prelims, and associated risks
• Compile and adjudicate tenders from start to finish, including bid documentation and cost breakdowns
• Submit tenders in line with company procedures and attend post-tender interviews
• Monitor bid success trends and client engagement
• Manage online tender portals and use various estimating software
• Work on multiple tenders ranging from £25k to £10M
• Produce Schedules of Works, Bills of Quantities, and rate compilations
• Prepare client presentation packs and respond to post-tender queries
• Support value engineering and internal handovers to the construction team
• Promote within the supply chain and support team coverage during absences
• Knowledge around groundworks and structures would be beneficial
