Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management:
Oversee the delivery of large-scale facade projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
* Team Leadership:
Manage and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and vendors. Ensure effective coordination between all parties involved in the project.
* Health & Safety:
Maintain a safe and compliant site, adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Lead by example and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
* Client Liaison:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and consultants. Provide regular updates on project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
* Quality Control:
Oversee the installation of glazing and cladding systems, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards.
* Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate any potential risks to the project, ensuring proactive problem-solving and contingency planning.
* Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate site records, including safety audits, progress reports, and daily reports. Ensure compliance with all necessary regulations and documentation.
Essential Qualifications &
Experience:
* Minimum of 8 years continuous experience as a Site Manager in the facade industry, demonstrating strong knowledge of managing complex projects.
* Proven experience working on facade projects valued at £30 million or more, including glazing, cladding, and high-rise residential developments.
* In-depth knowledge of facade systems, including curtain walling, cladding installation, and glazing techniques.
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
* First Aid certification.
* CSCS Black/Gold Card (or equivalent) – demonstrating advanced experience and leadership in construction.
Desirable
Skills:
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and communicate effectively at all levels.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
* Experience with high-rise residential buildings, including understanding of the complexities and challenges that come with working on tall structures.
* Ability to maintain focus under pressure and keep the project moving forward efficiently
