Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5 practitioners in the Baby Room.
- Act as a key person to a small group of babies (3–24 months) and build positive relationships with their families.
- Monitor babies’ progress and ensure developmental milestones are met.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities to support learning and development.
- Support babies in becoming more independent and prepare them for transition into the Toddler Room (24–36 months).
- Promote the health, wellbeing, and safety of all children.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are strictly followed.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and colleagues.
- Report on babies’ growth, development, and progress.
Salary:
Depends on experience and qualification
- Level 3 early years and childcare qualification (Childcare / Early Childhood).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a Baby Room in a nursery or early years setting.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Willingness to develop leadership skills and progress within the nursery.
