DescriptionWhat This Role Is Here To Do (Role Purpose) As the Business Development Manager at Poolhouse, you are responsible for driving new commercial opportunities and establishing Poolhouse as one of London’s leading destinations for premium competitive socialising and exceptional hospitality.
This role focuses on proactive revenue generation through corporate partnerships, agency relationships, strategic collaborations, and targeted market development. You will identify and secure high-value opportunities, build meaningful long‐term relationships, and develop a strong and sustainable pipeline of future business.
Working closely with the Sales & Events, Operations, and Marketing teams, you will help build Poolhouse’s commercial presence from launch and beyond. Through thoughtful relationship‑building and consistent market engagement, you will position Poolhouse as a trusted partner for corporate socialising and premium group experiences.
Success in this role is defined by sustained revenue growth, strength of partnerships, quality of pipeline, and the ability to convert new opportunities into long‑term commercial relationships that support the long‑term success of the business.

- Develop and execute a structured business development strategy that supports the long‑term commercial growth of Poolhouse
- Proactively identify, target, and secure new corporate clients, agencies, and strategic partners
- Generate a consistent flow of qualified opportunities that contribute to a strong and sustainable revenue pipeline
- Build high‑value client relationships that translate into repeat business and long‑term partnerships
- Develop thoughtful commercial proposals that reflect Poolhouse’s premium positioning and guest‑first philosophy
- Maintain disciplined outbound activity and follow‑up to maximise opportunity conversion
- Continuously identify new markets and sectors that align with Poolhouse’s target audience
- Contribute ideas and insight that strengthen Poolhouse’s commercial approach and market position
- Build strong and lasting relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and local business networks
- Represent Poolhouse confidently and professionally across the London corporate and hospitality landscape
- Actively participate in networking events, industry gatherings, and promotional opportunities
- Position Poolhouse as a premium and distinctive destination for corporate socialising and events
- Build credibility and trust through knowledgeable and thoughtful client interactions
- Ensure every external interaction reflects the warmth, energy, and professionalism of the Poolhouse brand
- Strengthen Poolhouse’s reputation through consistent visibility and relationship development
- Maintain an accurate and well‑structured pipeline of opportunities using CRM systems
- Provide clear and consistent reporting on business development activity and performance
