Business Analyst
Knowledge, experience and skills required
Experience:
5+ years of experience in bid or proposal management, ideally within the SaaS, Health Tech, or Public Sector industries.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, English, Marketing, or a related field. APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) certification is highly desirable.
Healthcare Knowledge: A strong understanding of the UK healthcare market, specifically the NHS procurement process and "Social Value" requirements.
Technical Knowledge:
Ability to grasp complex IT concepts (Interoperability, Cloud hosting, EHR workflows) and communicate them simply.
Project Management:
Exceptional ability to manage multiple bid teams and high-pressure deadlines simultaneously without compromising on detail.
- Bid Lifecycle Management:
Lead the full bid process from initial opportunity assessment (Go/No-Go) through to final submission and post-bid debriefs. - Strategy & Writing:
Draft high-quality, persuasive content. You will translate complex technical software features into clear, value-driven benefits for clinical and administrative stakeholders. - Stakeholder Management:
Act as the conduit for internal subject matter experts (SMEs). You will ensure that technical, clinical, and financial inputs are gathered and integrated on time. - Compliance & Governance:
Ensure all tenders meet the strict requirements of UK public sector procurement (e.g., LPP, G - Cloud and Crown Commercial Service frameworks). - Knowledge Library:
Maintain and refresh the bid content library, including case studies, social value statements, and technical specifications. - Presentations:
Coordinate and prepare the bid team for final "pitch" presentations to NHS Trusts or private healthcare boards.
