Executive Search Consultant - UK, Europe & US | Adhesives & Raw Materials at Pivotal Recruitment LtdOur client are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join a well established packaging distributor based in the Northwest, specializing in industrial markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strong customer relationships, and expanding the company’s presence across assigned territories and accounts.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and enjoys working closely with industrial clients to deliver practical, value-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities within industrial markets through prospecting, networking, and lead generation
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers to increase account value and retention
- Present and promote packaging products and solutions to prospective clients
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, pricing, and product recommendations
- Negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the industrial sector
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipelines using CRM tools
- Collaborate with internal teams including operations, customer service, and leadership
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management
- At least 2 years experience working for a packaging organisation (Ideally industrial or bag/sack experience)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
