Administration Team Leader/ Clerical Supervisor
Band 4
• 15 Hours per week (Thursday and Friday)
• Permanent contract
• Salary: £27,485 - £30,162 per annum pro rata (yearly)

The Cardio‑Respiratory Unit at the Royal Hospital is looking for an experienced Clerical Officer to lead a busy clerical team. The post holder will have worked as a band 3 clerical officer and have already demonstrated the ability to lead a team.
Key Responsibilities- To manage the day to day running of the clerical team (currently 9 in post)
- To co‑ordinate the booking of a range of cardiac and respiratory diagnostics
- To track and flex lists dependant on capacity vs demand
- To understand and report long waiting lists and manage potential breeches
- To be responsible in line with the administrative services manager for the reporting of DM01 diagnostic waits
- To line manage, appraise and address any staff concerns
- To produce rotas in line with staffing availability
- To deputise in the absence of the administrative services manager

Person Specification Qualifications- NVQ3 or 'A' level or equivalent
- Supervisory Course
- ECDL certificate

Demonstrable experience in an admin role - Desirable:
Previous experience supervising staff and training
- IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to lead and work as part of a team
- Commitment to completion of work tasks at high standard
- Organisational skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Current employee of a LAASP organisation
