B&M is one of the UK’s fastest-growing retailers, and we are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant to provide dedicated, one-on-one support to the CEO.
This role is suited to a seasoned PA who has proven experience supporting a CEO within a complex, fast-paced organisation and who thrives in a hands-on, highly confidential support role.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing all personal and professional administrative requirements, allowing the CEO to focus on leading a large retail operation. This is a trusted support role requiring discretion, strong organisational skills, and the ability to operate confidently at senior leadership level.
The role will require 4 days per week working from our Corporate Offices in Liverpool
TheKey Responsibilities of the role are:
- End-to-end management of the CEO’s diary, inbox, and daily schedule
- Coordination of domestic (and occasional international) travel, accommodation, and detailed itineraries, including store visits
- Acting as the primary point of contact for the CEO, managing and prioritising requests
- Managing confidential correspondence and communications on behalf of the CEO
- Coordinating meetings, including logistics, agendas, and follow-ups
- Liaising professionally with senior leaders, store teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders
- Handling sensitive commercial and people-related matters with discretion and care
- Providing general personal assistance to support the CEO’s effectiveness and workload
- Have proven experience as a Personal Assistant to a CEO or equivalent senior executive within a large organisation
- Have a strong understanding of the pace and demands of a PLC, or highly operational environment strongly preferred
- Be flexible, resilient and have exceptional organisational skills as well as the ability to juggle competing priorities
- Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders, and external stakeholders
- Have a high level of professionalism, discretion, and trustworthiness
- Be proactive, resilient, and adaptable, with a hands-on approach
- Have advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems
