Do you enjoy bringing order to complex information and making sure processes run smoothly? If yes — this could be your perfect next step! I am supporting a well established organisation within the public/regulated sector who are looking for a Data Protection Coordinator to join their Legal & Compliance function. You’ll play a key role in helping the organisation stay compliant with GDPR and the Data Protection Act — with a strong focus on managing and coordinating Subject Access Requests (SARs).

Handling and coordinating Data Subject Rights requests — collecting data, conducting searches, redacting information, preparing disclosure packs, and ensuring everything is sent securely. Triaging incoming queries via email and phone with professionalism and accuracy. Logging and maintaining meticulous records around incidents, rights requests and data sources. Supporting the upkeep of the Registers of Processing Activities (RoPA). Managing your workload effectively, flagging risks, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Following established processes around incident handling and breach management. Applying GDPR/DPA regulations confidently and consistently. Providing general administrative and organisational support to the Data Protection team. Collaborating with colleagues across different departments to gather information and respond to requests. What My Client Is Looking For You don’t need to be a seasoned Data Protection Officer — but you do need to bring:

You’ll get exposure to a wide variety of data protection work — ideal for building your career. You’ll join a supportive Legal Services team where collaboration is key. Attractive hourly rate of £15ph holiday pay! 3 months work with potential for permanent prospects! Central Liverpool location available easily commutable from Merseyrail stations 4761405
