Part-Time Legal Assistant – Corporate Team

Liverpool City Centre
, office-based role. 26 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Legal Assistant to join our Corporate team based in Liverpool city centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity within a market‑leading Corporate practice, offering meaningful responsibility, exposure to high‑quality transactional work, and the chance to support one of the most respected teams in the Liverpool city region.

The Role

You will provide administrative support to the Corporate team, acting as a key point of contact for colleagues, clients and professional advisers and ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a point of contact for colleagues, clients, and third‑party advisers
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships within internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage client queries professionally and efficiently
  • Coordinate the administrative aspects of transactions
  • Diary management
  • Prepare client care documentation
  • Support file reviews and liaise with Risk & Compliance teams
  • Assist with billing, WIP management, and aged debt
  • Update internal portals and ensure files are closed in accordance with firm procedures
  • Provide general admin support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department
Candidate Profile – Essential Skills and Experience
  • Experience in a comparable legal support or legal assistant role
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities calmly and effectively
  • A proactive and reliable approach to work
  • Confidence using case management systems and legal IT
  • A sound working knowledge of relevant legal processes
Desirable Experience
  • Previous experience supporting a Corporate team or working within a transactional legal environment
