Are you an experienced accountant looking to take the next step in your practice career? Our client, a leading chartered accountancy firm based in Liverpool, is seeking a driven Accounts Assistant Manager to join their growing and dynamic team.

You'll work closely with Managers and Partners, providing high-quality advice and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Key

responsibilities:
  • Managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and limited companies
  • Reviewing year-end accounts, management accounts, and corporation tax computations
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing support and technical guidance
  • Supervising and mentoring junior members of the accounts team
  • Supporting workflow management to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Assisting with business development and identifying opportunities to add value for clients
About You
  • ACA / ACCA qualified (or finalist) with solid post-qualification experience in practice
  • Strong background in accounts preparation and client management
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines, delegate effectively, and review work to a high standard
  • Experience with cloud-based software such as Xero, Quick Books, or similar
