Semi Senior or Senior Accountant with Audit and Practice Experience

• Do you have at least 2 years accountancy practice experience? (essential)
• Do you have audit experience?
• Are you experienced in preparation of year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies?
• Are you experienced in VAT reconciliations & VAT returns?
• Are you ACA/ACCA part qualified or qualified by experience?
• Do you have working knowledge of IRIS, SAGE and cloud-based accounting?

Our client, an accountancy practice based in Bootle are looking for a Full Time Semi Senior or Senior Accountant to join the company due to expansion. For this role, practice experience is essential as well as audit experience. They are looking for someone part qualified or QBE to come in and hit the ground running.

• Audit experience essential
• With several years general practice experience - ACCA/ACA Part Qualified or qualified by experience
• Have a reasonably in-depth of knowledge of accounting, Corporation Tax, VAT and taxation matters, including good working knowledge of UK GAAP.
• Experience of accounting for sole traders, partnerships, LLP’s and Limited Companies across a broad range of industries is essential.
• Have the ability to build strong relationships in order to maintain and grow the existing client base, a strong team player, expected to quickly integrate with the existing team.
• Working knowledge of IRIS, Sage, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based accounting packages would be advantageous but not essential

• £18,000 - £30,000
• 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
