We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Plumber Helper. In this role, you will aid and support our Service Experts HVAC and Plumbing team in various plumbing tasks and projects. Your main responsibilities will include assisting plumbers with installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate should possess basic knowledge of plumbing systems, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

• Assist licensed plumbers in installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Carry tools, equipment, and supplies to and from work areas.
• Prepare job sites by setting up necessary tools and materials.
• Dig trenches, excavate ditches, and create access points as required.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools.
• Assist in the assembly and installation of plumbing fixtures.
• Connect pipes using fittings, soldering, welding, or approved methods.
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify defects or issues.
• Assist in troubleshooting plumbing problems and propose solutions.
• Clean up job sites and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.

• Report unsafe acts, conditions, and hazards to supervisor immediately.
• Correct substandard acts or conditions within area of control.
• Use and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as prescribed.
• Never remove or render ineffective any safety guard, device, or clothing required.
• Comply with general rules as prescribed by company procedures.
• Operate equipment as prescribed by company procedures.
• Participate in safety initiatives, teams, or committees.
• Report injuries or incidents as prescribed immediately.
• Provide input on developing safety initiatives and plans.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar plumbing or construction role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Reliable and punctual with excellent time management.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as needed.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

• May work indoors or outdoors depending on project.
• Exposure to weather conditions, heat, cold, humidity.
• May be required to work in confined spaces or at heights.
• Possible exposure to hazardous materials or chemicals.

Compensation: $24.13/hour – $30.77/hour
