- Manage showroom merchandising, maintenance, customer service, and coordinate with the sales team on sales promotion activities to ensure merchandising is up to date and enhance the customer experience.
- Manage, train, coach, and develop the showroom team to ensure continuous staff development and learning.
- Supervise hiring, scheduling, timesheet maintenance, attendance, progressive discipline, and performance evaluations.
- Communicate product changes and updates, and perform product presentations for all branch employees to enhance team knowledge.
- Maintain up-to-date information on interior design trends, competitors, and their products.
- Monitor Sample Room activities, organization, and inventory to ensure product samples are accurately classified and available for customers as needed.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. - Experience:
2+ years of supervisory/management experience in retail sales within a professional environment and front-facing customer interaction; prior work experience with stone, granite, or slabs is a plus. - Functional
Skills:
Good supervisory skills, ability to train and coach staff, solid planning, organization, and execution skills to roll out new product lines, reset showroom, and organize sample room. A self-starter who proactively finds solutions to meet our customer needs and can multi-task. - Technology Aptitude:
Solid computer skills working within a Microsoft Windows environment and prior ERP software experience. - Language
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to speak effectively and professionally with internal and external customers, engage customers by active listening and providing solutions. - Core Values & Behaviors:

- Reports To:
Regional Showroom Lead/Manager and Corporate Showroom Manager - Work Schedule:
Onsite, Monday & Friday with ability to work Saturdays. - Direct Reports: 3–5
- Work Environment:
Frequently works in a retail environment open to the public. May work indoors and occasionally outdoors. May work with material handling equipment, including forklifts, and packaged, cement-based products such as grouts, cleaning, and sealing chemicals for tile and stone. - Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands; talk and hear. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to climb or balance. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Vision: color, close, distance, ability to adjust focus.

Salary: $68,000 – $70,000 per year
