Job Summary The Machinist will be responsible for programming, set-up and operation of CNC mills. Experience with Haas EC 400 and Haas UMC 750 is a must.

Supervisory Responsibilities Preferred

• Mastercam programming of machines
• Operate controls and functions of CNC Mills - HAAS EC 400/ HAAS
• Set up CNC machines and machine the parts to customer’s specifications
• Run multiple machines as needed. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
• Troubleshoot for loading and unloading parts
• Read blueprints/drawings to determine specifications and dimensions
• Inspect parts per print
• Clean and maintain machining equipment
• Ensure all work orders are signed off and inspections are complete
• Promote a positive team environment by following all company and safety policies
• Project a favorable image of the organization at all times
• Follow the organization’s grooming and dress standards
• Keep the Department Lead promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
• Perform duties in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with company policies to achieve the position’s objectives
• Perform other duties as requested by the Department Lead or Management
• Ability to operate a forklift or other powered devices needed for moving material and maintain certification
• Loads and unloads materials into or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with lifting support
• Maintains inventory
• Keep work areas clean
• Other duties as assigned

• Mastercam Programming
• Haas EC 400 and Haas UMC 750
• Ability to maintain basic logs and records
• Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision
• Able to remain professional and courteous always
• Ability to adapt and work in a very fast-paced environment

• Minimum 5 years experience in Metal Fabrication
• Forklift certification
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English

Must be able to lift to 50 pounds regularly.

$35/hr - $45/hr Programmer and Set Up Experience
