Role Overview :

As a Program Manager at Aalyria, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of complex projects and initiatives, with a focus on global public sector customers. Leveraging your extensive program management experience within the US Government (USG) and your active security clearance, you will collaborate within cross‑functional teams, manage budgets, maintain strong relationships with civil and defense customers, and ensure the timely delivery of our innovative products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Leadership: Lead and oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with company goals, vision, and strategic objectives. Provide strategic guidance, clear direction, and effective communication to cross‑functional teams.
  • USG Expertise: Utilize your comprehensive understanding of USG processes, regulations, and compliance requirements to navigate the unique challenges associated with government contracts and partnerships. In depth understanding of acquisition process and life cycle management of the program.
  • Transition to Production: Experience in managing programs that have transitioned from prototype to production volumes. Leading teams to improve TRL/MRL of program.
  • Security Clearance Management: Maintain an active security clearance and assist the team in adhering to security protocols, safeguarding sensitive information, and ensuring compliance with relevant security regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, to establish and nurture strong working relationships. Serve as the primary point of contact for USG‑related matters.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Develop, monitor, and manage program budgets, resource allocation, and timelines. Ensure efficient allocation of resources to meet project objectives within scope and budget constraints.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in the development of FFP, T&M and CPFF proposals for various government agencies and provide program management inputs.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. Proactively address challenges to minimize potential impact on project outcomes.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track objectives and key responsibilities (OKRs) to measure program success, monitor progress, and report on project status to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and best practices by leveraging lessons learned and industry standards. Implement feedback loops to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Development: Assist the Director of Global Public Sector in fostering a collaborative and high‑performing team culture. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, encouraging their professional growth and development.
Required Qualifications:
  • Clearance Requirements: An active Top Secret clearance is required for this position. Candidates must also be eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). (Preferred)

    Experience:

    5+ years of demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex programs, preferably for USG customers within the space and/or network communications product industries. Managing both hardware and software as a service model.
