Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the daily repairs and general up keep of the surrounding areas of the property. This position performs a variety of building maintenance repair work, which may include janitorial work, throughout the building. This position may be assigned to 1 or more properties depending on size of the properties and geographic regions.

Location: This position will be assigned to a SAHA property in Livermore:
Arbor Vista.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $23.00 to $27.88 hourly. Starting pay rates depend on candidate experience, skill, education, comparisons to current staff, and the needs of the specific position hired for.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Three or more years of relevant maintenance or trade experience is preferred.
• Experience and/or knowledge of property management and affordable housing is a plus.

Physical Demands: If offered the position, the successful completion of a pre-employment Physical Abilities Test (PAT) is required. This test will be paid for by SAHA and is intended to ensure candidates can meet the physical demands of the job. Some of the physical demands include frequent and daily standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
