Certified Nursing Assistant-Livermore VAMC

Overview

Loyal Source Government Service is currently seeking CNAs for an opportunity for the VA in Livermore, CA. Candidates will provide services onsite in inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and community living centers to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The standard of care shall be of the quality meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by applicable authorities.

Provide nursing assistant care in VA facilities to eligible beneficiaries onsite, in inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and community living centers, aligning with the standard of care and national standards. Support services necessary to perform on-site nursing assistant duties and contribute to a patient-centered care environment.

• Current license as a nursing assistant in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia when services are performed onsite on VA property.
• BLS or ACLS or equivalency certification (AHA is preferred).
• Shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the government’s requirements, including the ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently.
• Completion of an accredited training course in nursing through the State of CA.

Multiple shifts to include: 0700 AM - 0330 PM; 0730 AM - 0400 PM; 0800 AM - 0430 PM; 1030 AM - 0700 PM; 1130 AM - 0800 PM; 1230 PM - 900 PM; 0330 PM - 1200 AM.

Pay: $20.38/hr; plus $4.93/hr H&W.
