Staffing Manager and Expert Recruiter at LHH Recruitment SolutionsLHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk for one of our clients located in Livermore, California. The position is 100% in-office! The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing customer accounts, and ensuring timely collections.
Responsibilities- Process customer invoices and statements accurately and in a timely manner.
- Post and reconcile daily deposits to customer accounts.
- Contact customers for outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and interactions.
- Prepare and distribute regular accounts receivable reports to management.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer inquiries.
- Keep up-to-date with company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or collections
- Experience with a medium to large ERP preferred software package (Oracle, Net Suite, SAP)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work & Excel – Intermediate)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field would be a plus
Experience:
2 years of Accounts Receivable experience (Accounts Receivable Specialist, Accounts Receivable Clerk, Collections Specialist)
