Position: Maintenance Assistant
Location: Live Oak, Florida
Shift: Full-Time | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: $18 per hour
Live Oak Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning facility. This role ensures that residents, staff, and visitors enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment every day.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily repairs and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring, and more.
- Safely operate hand and power tools.
- Conduct routine inspections and promptly address minor repairs.
- Maintain HVAC systems, including regular filter changes.
- Support overall facility upkeep to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in maintenance.
- Hands-on skills in carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, flooring, and painting.
- Nursing home experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and TELS preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
