DESCRIPTION of POSITION FUNCTIONS
This position will be primarily responsible for sourcing new potential clients and delivering client-centered advice in all areas of financial planning and investment management. This person will initiate new client relationships through effective sourcing, networking, capitalizing on referrals, local market and community involvement. They will also provide support to the other Financial Consultants with day to day operations. The organization will be sponsoring this person to obtain the necessary education and licenses for both the Trust & Investment delivery channel and the Brokerage delivery channel.
JOB SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
College degree or equivalent proficiency and minimum 1 – 2 years of experience in financial services sales or a business development role. Requires a degree of maturity necessary to function in activities beyond standard routines. Knowledge of trust/estate planning and financial planning is preferred. CTFA or CFP designation to be obtained within 3 years for the Trust & Investments delivery channel.
FINRA series 7 & 66 plus insurance licenses to sell securities and insurance products to be obtained in 18 months for the Brokerage delivery channel.
