Required Skills:

• Valid New Hampshire medical license in hand
• Board eligibility or certification in Emergency Medicine
• Proven ability to triage and manage critically ill or injured patients with efficiency and compassion
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently during 24-hour shifts

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience working in rural or critical access hospital settings
• Familiarity with telemedicine or electronic health records systems
• Additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• At least 2 years of emergency medicine experience or equivalent
• Prior experience in a community or critical access hospital

Other Requirements:

• Availability for 24-hour shifts (9 a.m. to 9 a.m.)
• Drive-in candidate preferred; flexibility for schedule coverage in March 2026
• Support available from APPs during shifts (10 a.m. 10 p.m.)
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered emergency care
• Willingness to support community health initiatives
