Software Engineer – Java, Python

Requirements Must have

• An active and transferable U.S. government‑issued TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory before the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is essential, as only U.S. citizens qualify for a security clearance.
• Typically, a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 2 years of relevant software engineering experience are required.
• Proficiency in developing object‑oriented software, particularly using Java.
• Experience with Visual Basic and Python programming languages.
• Familiarity with Oracle databases.
• Experience working with Windows and Red Hat Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in development tools such as Jira, Git, and Eclipse.

• I will update software versions for commercial off‑the‑sale (COTS) and free and open‑source software (FOSS).
• I will enhance software and hardware infrastructure.
• I will develop, integrate, and test the necessary software updates for the system.
• I will collaborate with skilled teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile setting.
