Position: AM Cook

Starting Wage: $18/hour

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

• Prepare and produce Infused Edible products according to standardized recipes and procedures
• Work as part of a team to meet Production targets and deadlines
• Support Kitchen Assistants through post-production processes such as:
  Fruit Chews (demolding, sugar sanding, packaging), Chocolate Bars (demolding, flow wrapping, boxing, labeling), Baked Goods (packaging and sealing), Third-party and White-label products

Quality Control

• Monitor product quality throughout applicable production stages
• Ensure all products consistently meet company and regulatory quality standards

Equipment & Safety

• Operate mixers, ovens, and packaging equipment in accordance with SOPs

Sanitation & Organization

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace at all times
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks and logs
• Follow FIFO guidelines for food products
• Adhere to all PPE, SDS, and safety requirements

Regulatory Compliance

• Comply with all local and state food handling and cannabis regulations
• Ensure infused products are properly labeled at all times

Required Skills & Abilities

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A commitment to quality and consistency
• Strong spatial awareness and attentiveness to auditory cues (e.g., equipment alarms)
• The ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs
• Comfort multitasking in a fast-paced production environment
• Accuracy with counts and measurements
• Adaptability and openness to feedback

Physical Requirements

Ability to:

• Perform repetitive motions and utilize hand tools
• Lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
• Read fine print in SOPs and manuals
• Use stairs, ladders, or lifts up to 20 feet
• Stand or sit for extended periods
• Work in fluctuating temperatures and noisy production environments
• Work in close proximity to others
• Wear PPE as required
• Work without auditory obstructions (e.g., headphones)

Preferred Qualifications

• Cannabis kitchen or Sanctuary experience
• Food preparation and food safety
• Manufacturing or kitchen equipment operation
• Knowledge of Massachusetts cannabis regulations

Certifications & Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Serv Safe Certification
