Staff Accountant – Manufacturing

Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and administrative functions. This onsite role is responsible for AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, payroll coordination, and month‑end close activities. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment and is proficient with SAP B1 or another SAP module.

Monday–Friday (8:00AM–4:30PM)

• Process journal entries, accruals, and expense allocations.
• Coordinate payroll activities with external payroll providers.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with audits.
• Generate SAP B1 reports and dashboards for management review.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support month‑end close.
• Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
• Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and inventory‑related transactions.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules.

• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in SAP B1 or any SAP module (required)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and basic cost accounting concepts.
• Experience with AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (manufacturing strongly preferred)

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with inventory accounting or manufacturing workflows.
• Certifications such as Certified Bookkeeper (AIPB) or SAP user certifications.
