Delivery Specialist – O'Reilly Auto Parts

Join O'Reilly Auto Parts as a Delivery Specialist and contribute to efficient delivery and customer service.

$14.42 – $19.00 per hour (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location; additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance rewards or premiums).

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained and perform daily inspections before operating.
• Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, handheld devices and collected monies at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate any customer problems or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day.
• Clock in/out to company policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders.
• May occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier and/or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record meeting the company’s 14/18‑point record system.
• Legally required state driver’s license and company‑mandated driving eligibility.

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
