Job Description

Position: Youth Sports Instructor.

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour.

Foothills is looking for Youth Sports/Gymnastics instructors to assist with entry level youth gymnastics classes such as Parent/Tot, Tiny Tumblers, and Pre‑School classes. You do NOT need to be a gymnastics expert.

Classes are held Monday – Friday, 9:00 am–12:30 pm. Scheduling is flexible, but ideal candidates will have consistent availability to ensure class consistency. Punctual and reliable attendance is required.

• Provide gym/class supervision.
• Ensure the safety of all participants.
• Basic instruction (training will be provided).
• Engage with parents and participants in a positive manner.
• Help create an environment where kids can learn and play.

• Enthusiastic about working with children (primarily ages 9 months–5 years).
• Willingness to learn.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred; required within 60 days of hire.

• FREE use of recreation/fitness centers, swimming pools, and ice arena.
• FREE drop‑in fitness classes (yoga, Zumba, aerobic, etc.).
• Golf discounts ($3–$14 for 9 holes depending on day of week, free driving range, etc.).
• Discounts on other recreation programs/classes.

• Accrued sick time (1 hour for every 30 hours worked).

• Scholarship program (eight $500 scholarships awarded per year).
