What does this role look like? For this role, you will be joining the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Avionics organization committed to developing flight and test software for the missile system. You will join a team of software engineers that designs and develops mission critical flight and test subsystems for the FBM program. The duties for this position will incorporate all phases of the software development life cycle -- requirements, design, code, test, and maintenance.

• Experience in processor firmware and software - software drivers and firmware wrappers.
• Understanding of missile or satellite software systems.
• Experience with modern Dev Ops, CI/CD, containers
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent team orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills with management and peers.

Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
