Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software, or related discipline or equivalent years of experience.
• Previous C++ or python development/test experience.
• Active Interim Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS Clearance.

What does this role look like?

For this role, you will be joining the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Avionics organization committed to developing flight software for the missile system. You will join a team of Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) and software engineers that designs and develops mission‑critical GNC subsystems for the FBM program. The duties for the position will incorporate all phases of the software development life cycle -- requirements, design, code, test, and maintenance.

• Experience in processor and microprocessor firmware (non‑OS based).
• Experience in processor firmware and software (OS based) - software drivers and firmware wrappers.
• Understanding of missile or satellite software systems.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent team orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills with management and peers.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $76,500 – $134,895. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
