Job Overview
Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Personnel Security Representative Sr. to join our Personnel Security team within the Space organization. The role involves submission of SAP nominations, adverse and foreign travel reporting, and providing exceptional service to SAP customers and Lockheed Martin program management.
Responsibilities- Process and submit Foreign Travel and Pre‑Screening Questionnaire (PSQ) templates to customers to support timely reporting mandates set by the customer(s).
- Become a SME (Subject Matter Expert) on Adverse Reporting for various customers; assist Lockheed Martin employees in timely and accurate reporting.
- Coordinate actions with local Program Security teams across the Space organization to ensure customer requirements are met for SAP briefings, debriefings, and adverse reporting.
- Maintain information in internal security systems and ensure proper tracking of all SAP program nominations.
- Develop and maintain established relationships with a variety of SAP customers and internal stakeholders.
- Identify areas for process improvement and automation, and work with the team to implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, personnel systems, and enterprise needs, applying this knowledge to improve personnel security processes and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of personnel security requests.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to pass a Polygraph.
- Experience in personnel security, with a focus on DOD SCI programs.
- Familiarity and demonstrated use of applicable PERSEC systems.
- Demonstrated writing and presentation skills.
- Technical understanding of DISS and other personnel security systems.
- Knowledge of SEAD 3 and DoDM 5205.07 regulations.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly.
Work Schedule & LocationOnsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. The schedule for this position is 9x80 with every other Friday off.
Compensation & BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $69,900 - $123,280. The salary for other states will reflect the candidate's final work location. This position is incentive plan eligible. Benefits offered include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
Washington state applicants receive additional paid time off and holiday hours as detailed in the company policy.
