Job Overview
Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
Excludes technicians working in production or quality assurance.

Basic Qualifications- Electrical trouble shooting experience.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from schematics, engineering drawings, wiring lists, sketches, wiring connection lists, and/or other information/documentation.
- Ability to assemble detailed parts/components into an end product following work instruction.
- Ability to pass JSTD-001 certification, SSC JSTD
001MA
P Solder OPER Certification, SSC NASA Polymerics Operator Certification and SSC NASA Cable/Harness Operator Certification.
- Proficient in mechanical assembly and troubleshooting, bonding, polymerics and cable fabrication.
- JSTD-001 certification.
- Proficiencies with mechanical type fabrication of ground support racks, chassis fabrication, and CCA fabrication.
- Solid computer skills, competent with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with VE-CAMS and SAP.
- 2 years experience in the industry.
- Ability to work varying shifts and weekend work as needed.
Onsite full-time, 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off.
