We are seeking an Inventory Control Associate to support development, production, quality, and continuous improvement efforts within a manufacturing environment focused on complex, high-reliability hardware. This role is responsible for the accurate handling, tracking, and organization of materials, parts, and equipment used in the production of precision assemblies.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in inventory control or warehouse operations, thrives in a detail-oriented environment, and understands the importance of accuracy, traceability, and process discipline when supporting manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment
  • Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and complete required documentation
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and shipping documentation
  • Maintain organized inventory areas with proper labeling, traceability, cleanliness, and space utilization
  • Organize materials and prepare kits to support manufacturing and engineering operations
  • Assist in organizing tools and assets to improve accessibility and workflow efficiency
  • Conduct cycle counts and full physical inventories
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Support and implement best practices to improve inventory management processes
  • Transport materials between company and vendor locations as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory control within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail
    , organizational skills, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Experience optimizing storage methods and material flow
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret part numbers, dimensions, and basic manufacturing documentation
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet daily and long-term deadlines
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work safely with heavy materials
  • Valid driver’s license
Compliance & Work Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations
  • Must be able to work on-site during standard business hours
  • Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment supporting high-value, precision hardware
Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)
  • Experience supporting electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Familiarity with ESD-sensitive environments or controlled work spaces
  • Prior experience in aerospace, defense, medical devices, or other regulated manufacturing environments
