We are seeking an Inventory Control Associate to support development, production, quality, and continuous improvement efforts within a manufacturing environment focused on complex, high-reliability hardware. This role is responsible for the accurate handling, tracking, and organization of materials, parts, and equipment used in the production of precision assemblies.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in inventory control or warehouse operations, thrives in a detail-oriented environment, and understands the importance of accuracy, traceability, and process discipline when supporting manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment
- Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and complete required documentation
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and shipping documentation
- Maintain organized inventory areas with proper labeling, traceability, cleanliness, and space utilization
- Organize materials and prepare kits to support manufacturing and engineering operations
- Assist in organizing tools and assets to improve accessibility and workflow efficiency
- Conduct cycle counts and full physical inventories
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Support and implement best practices to improve inventory management processes
- Transport materials between company and vendor locations as needed
- Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory control within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail
, organizational skills, and written/verbal communication skills - Experience optimizing storage methods and material flow
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret part numbers, dimensions, and basic manufacturing documentation
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet daily and long-term deadlines
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work safely with heavy materials
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations
- Must be able to work on-site during standard business hours
- Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment supporting high-value, precision hardware
- Experience supporting electro-mechanical assemblies
- Familiarity with ESD-sensitive environments or controlled work spaces
- Prior experience in aerospace, defense, medical devices, or other regulated manufacturing environments
