Overview
Our Lead Machine Operator is a vital part of our production team, responsible for driving efficiency, quality, and safety across daily manufacturing operations. In this role, you’ll oversee machine performance, provide hands‑on support on the production floor, and lead a dedicated team of operators to consistently achieve shift targets. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, you’ll help ensure our equipment runs at peak performance while fostering a high‑performance, safety‑first culture.
The position follows a consistent 6:00 AM–3:00 PM morning shift, providing stability and a predictable workday.

- Provide direction, coaching, and mentoring to machine operators to ensure strong performance and skill development.
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate maintenance as needed to minimize downtime.
- Maintain strict quality control checks throughout production and reinforce a culture of accuracy and consistency.
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance workflow.
- Enforce all safety guidelines, conduct regular safety checks, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety.
- Assign tasks, manage workflow, and ensure production targets are met for the 1st shift.
- Maintain accurate production logs, quality records, and shift reports.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Demonstrated experience as a machine operator, including prior leadership or lead experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and leadership.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Proficiency with production software/systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
