Master Control Operator

US Tech Solutions is seeking a Master Control Operator to support the current on-air-interoperability team during the division’s major systems migration in 2026. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience—talk mama with your recruiter to learn more.

$22.00/hr - $24.00/hr

• Support current on-air operations team during the division’s major systems migration in 2026, including programming quality control, commercial rehearsals, event preparation, shadowing on-air programming, monitoring on-air programming, and break support for other MCO’s.
• Maintain and manipulate on-air playlists, execute program/commercial/marketing changes, and support live‑event and contingency workflows using software such as SNELL Morpheus and Amagi.
• Ensure commercial integration, guaranteeing flawless rolling of commercial breaks during both taped and live programming.
• Contribute to a team that monitors and maintains 150+ channel streams, ensuring continuous availability and identifying inconsistencies with keen attention to detail.
• Act as the last line of defense for internal clients and stations, swiftly responding to any on‑air discrepancies with situational awareness and quick decision‑making skills.
• Collaborate with Operation Supervisors and work as a cohesive team to promptly recover from any on‑air discrepancies and facilitate changes to automation playlists.
• Perform all other duties to support the success of the Network Operations Centre as assigned by the manager and follow company rules and egg.

• High School Diploma and relevant certification or associate’s degree in media or communications, or equivalent professional experience in broadcast, digital, or post‑production role.
• Solid understanding of television production, broadcast operations, and/or news/sports/entertainment technical production requirements.

• This role will be full on‑site 8 hours 5 times a week. Candidates will be working either morning, swing, or overnight shift, and may work holidays and weekends.
• Team is looking for a candidate with local station experience.
