Our interns partner with teams across Echo Star working to drive our latest game‑changing innovation. Our internship is a 10‑week, in‑person experience that is paid hourly with eligible overtime. Interns are given a business project(s) to complete over the summer and present their results to leadership and their peers. Echo Star provides each intern with a manager to support them with the execution of their project.

Echo Star has an exciting opportunity for AEO and SEO Intern. This position will be located at our office in Littleton, CO.

We are seeking a motivated AEO and SEO Intern with a strong interest in data analysis, reporting, and technical SEO. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands‑on experience working with real performance data, learning how search engines crawl, index, and rank websites, and supporting optimization efforts across SEO and emerging Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) initiatives.

• Assist in the creation of AEO and SEO analytics dashboards
• Assist in AEO and SEO research and providing content recommendations
• Perform sentiment analysis for AEO
• Optimize content for machine readability

• GPA 3.3 or above
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a related field of study
• Must have 60 credit hours completed by May 2026

• Successful completion of a pre‑employment screen including a reference check, criminal background check, and possible drug test
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data in Excel or Google Sheets
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and how search engines work
• Interest in technical concepts such as HTML, site structure, and web performance
• Ability to clearly document findings and communicate insights
• High attention to detail and curiosity about problem‑solving
• Experience with Google Gemini and ChatGPT
• Familiarity with Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools
• Interest in NLP and machine learning

Compensation: $18.00/Hour - $24.00/Hour
