Behavior Technician – Soar Autism Center
Join Soar Autism Center in enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum. As a Behavior Technician, you will provide high‑quality ABA therapy and support our mission‑driven care model.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one‑on‑one ABA therapy to children aged 2‑6 in our clinic, adhering to professional standards.
- Implement intervention plans developed by our BCBAs, ensuring alignment with ABA principles.
- Foster relationships with families, consistently updating them on their child’s progress.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with ABA advances and RBT certification requirements.
- Preference for enrollment or completion of a degree program; degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields preferred.
- Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within 6 weeks of employment (paid training provided). RBT certification required for our CO Springs location.
- Previous experience working with children and enjoyment in child‑centered activities.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for training location and local center.
- Physical ability to sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., and move to catch up with clients.
- Computer and tablet literacy.
- Team‑working skills.
- $21.50 – $28.50/hr with regular bonus and promotion opportunities; initial offer between $21.00–$22.50/hr.
