You will be the Environmental Health & Safety Engineer for Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO. Our team is responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant operational environment across the site. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Environmental focus on water quality programs including wastewater and drinking water. Manage ESH programs in hazardous and/or restricted chemicals, including TSCA and REACH programs as needed. Takes effective steps to ensure that workplace conditions comply with applicable federal and state occupational safety and health standard provisions of any labor agreement, ensuring that all required records are prepared and maintained. Participates in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections and in any procedures that may follow a citation.

Investigates, prepares, and forwards as required reports on injuries and fatalities. Benefits of Employment:

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in managing Environmental compliance programs

• Competent with regulatory and consensus standards such as OSHA, EPA, ANSI, etc.

• Experience in Environmental, Safety & Health disciplines such as developing, collecting, maintaining and analyzing program documents, presenting metrics, evaluations and/or inspections, assessments, conducting training for ESH programs.

• Ability to interpret, apply, audit, and communicate (both orally and in writing) regulatory compliance requirements, across all levels of the organization

• Ability to obtain and hold a government secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
Desired

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in ESH-related discipline with at least 3 years of professional experience; or 5+ years experience/combined education.

• Experience managing environmental programs, specifically water quality programs.
• Excellent project management skills with an emphasis on developing innovative solutions to execute our allocated budget.

• ASP, CSP, CHST, CIH certification is a plus.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret
