Test Automation Engineer - Internship

Job SummaryThe Exo Terra Internship Program is designed to give students real‑world experience, structured learning, and exposure to the aerospace industry. Interns will work with cross‑functional teams, participate in meaningful projects, and develop skills that will support their career trajectory. This is a paid internship designed for motivated, curious, and collaborative students who are excited to learn and contribute.
Responsibilities and Duties- Special focus in automating tests using LabVIEW
- Specifying and procuring equipment for test automation
- Support project work within assigned functional area
- Participate in meetings, providing updates and receiving coaching on work deliverables
- Conduct basic research, data collection, analysis, or documentation tasks aligned with department needs
- Collaborate with Exo Terra team members to solve problems and learn internal processes
- Demonstrate professionalism, curiosity, and willingness to learn and grow
- Present end‑of‑internship project summary (if required) to the team or leadership group
- Rising Junior or Rising Senior, currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program with an emphasis in Engineering
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage time and follow through on assignments
- Interest in aerospace, manufacturing, engineering or the functional area of the internship
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or other basic tools relevant to the role
- Duration: 12 – 13 weeks

This is an hourly, non‑exempt position. Hourly rate will vary based on years of education and is eligible for overtime in accordance with federal and state wage laws
