RoleAs a Human Factors Engineer, you will support the Systems Engineering Special Disciplines organization which services multiple programs. In this role you will:
- Apply human factors principles, methodologies, and technologies to the design of human-machine systems and products
- Perform evaluations in such areas as anthropometry/biomechanics, systems architecture, crew interface usability, and human-computer interaction
- Work across multi-disciplined teams to optimize the performance of human-machine systems and architecture design
- Coordinate technical requirements across engineering fields, participate in hardware & software design and reviews, evaluate and assess system architecture, and evaluate human capabilities and impacts of the system environment

Desired Skills- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Biomedical), Human Factors Psychology, or closely related field
- Enthusiastic problem-solver with knowledge of human modeling tools & techniques
- Previous experience working with Government customers
- Proven behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to tackle problems and implement constructive change
- Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
- Active or Current Secret or higher security clearance
