Basic Qualifications
- Systems Engineering processes and Systems Integration functions experience in one or more of the following:
- a.) System trade studies and/or System modeling
- b.) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
- c.) System Integration, Test and/or Verification
- d.) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
- e.) Design reviews
- Exceptional ability to communicate highly technical information to a variety of stakeholders, including government engineers and contractor leadership
- Familiarity with requirements for Transporting Hazardous materials
- Familiarity with GFx processes
- Interim Secret Security clearance required prior to start; US Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security clearance

- Serve as the primary technical and regulatory interface between FBM program and government agencies
- Be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of hazardous material classifications
- Issue IHC/FHC letters, generate data packages, and negotiate approvals to ensure program compliance
- Coordinate and submit program GFx requests and manage property audit of such assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams provide regular system level testing and troubleshooting as appropriate.
- Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Working knowledge of the Trident II D5LE Missile
- Understanding of DOT Class 1 (Explosives) divisions and the specific criteria for Navy ordnance safety (e.g., TB 700-2 standards).
- Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data
- Ability to interact with hardware and software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
- Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
- A working knowledge of EXCEL macros tools
