Job Overview
Lockheed Martin Space seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer to ensure a safe, compliant operational environment across the site in Littleton, CO. The role involves managing environmental compliance programs, overseeing water quality, hazardous chemical programs, and ensuring regulatory and safety standards across the organization.
Basic Qualifications- Experience in managing Environmental compliance programs.
- Competent with regulatory and consensus standards such as OSHA, EPA, ANSI, etc.
- Experience in Environmental, Safety & Health disciplines including developing, collecting, maintaining and analyzing program documents, presenting metrics, evaluations, inspections, assessments, and conducting training for ESH programs.
- Ability to interpret, apply, audit, and communicate regulatory compliance requirements verbally and in writing, across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to obtain and hold a government secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
- Bachelor’s degree in ESH‑related discipline with at least 3 years of professional experience; or 5+ years experience/combined education.
- Experience managing environmental programs, specifically water quality programs.
- Excellent project management skills with an emphasis on developing innovative solutions to execute within allocated budget.
- ASP, CSP, CHST, CIH certification is a plus.
- Environmental focus on water quality programs including wastewater and drinking water.
- Manage ESH programs in hazardous and/or restricted chemicals, including TSCA and REACH programs as needed.
- Ensure workplace conditions comply with applicable federal and state occupational safety and health standard provisions of any labor agreement, and that all required records are prepared and maintained.
- Participate in OSHA inspections and follow‑up procedures.
- Investigate, prepare, and forward reports on injuries and fatalities.

CompensationAnnual base salary ranges vary by state: $63,800 – $112,470 for most listed states; $73,400 – $127,075 for major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York.
Position is incentive plan eligible.
