Position: RF Engineer / Mission Analysis IV

Key Duties
  • Conducting RF and other mission‑essential analysis for proposals, studies, trades, and programs.
  • Act as client‑facing lead for projects in the national security space and other mission areas.
  • Plan and execute analysis efforts in coordination with internal and external clients.
  • Enthusiastically participate in the technical growth of junior engineers and analysts.
  • Utilize your creativity and problem‑solving skills to think outside the box and address novel technical challenges.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.
  • Familiar with RF principles and orbital mechanics.
  • Experience developing tools and performing spacecraft mission analysis using MATLAB.
  • Experience using Systems Tool Kit (STK).
  • Experience collaborating with senior customers and stakeholders.
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance prior to start (with a current investigation or CV date) and be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Desired Skills
  • Master's degree with strong Math, Physics, and/or Statistics background.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience with antenna design (feeds, reflectors, phased arrays, etc.).
  • Experience with state estimation and geolocation analysis.
  • Experience managing projects, often in ambiguous situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully between multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Experience in the national security space and related mission areas.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving and analytical skills from a systems perspective.
  • Strong communications and teamwork skills.
  • Unbridled enthusiasm for the broader space and national security mission area.
Security Clearance Statement

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: TS/SCI.

Location & Schedule

Onsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Schedule for this Position: 9‑x‑80 every other Friday off.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual base salary range in California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington D.C.: $123,500 – $217,695 (other states: salary will reflect location). Benefits offered:
