Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experience leading software projects, teams, and development efforts
• Experience as a CAM
• Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement)
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; successful completion of drug and background checks is required to access classified information

Software Engineer Sr Stf

Join our team as a Software IPT Lead for the FBM Tactical team where you will be involved in planning and executing avionics work scope and program execution. This position is not eligible for teleworking; the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton or Englewood, CO, and will be expected to work in the office full‑time.

As a Software IPT Lead and CAM, you will support the LE2 Program for Avionics using strong software engineering skills to work with all project partners and define the future for FBM.

• Lead, budget, and manage cost/schedule/technical performance.
• Effectively manage project performance (schedule, cost, and technical).
• Coordinate and establish work lanes for incoming/outgoing program needs.
• Support staffing and resource updates.
• Coordinate with the LE2 Product Team to balance resource requirements through IPT management.

• Experience leading software projects, teams, and development efforts.
• Experience as a CAM.
• Eight or more years of professional experience relevant to this role.
• Documentation for obtaining and maintaining a DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

• SCRUM Master certification.
• Baseline control experience and Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve sophisticated problems and implement constructive change.
• Experience in project management principles (cost, schedule, technical).
• Experience using JIRA or Version 1 or similar tools for project planning and tracking.
• Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering.
• Active clearance.

Littleton or Englewood, CO. This position requires onsite full‑time work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Secret. U.S. Citizenship is required for consideration.

The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado is $134,000 - $236,325. The range may vary based on the final work location.
