Basic Qualifications

- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; successful completion of drug and background checks is required to access classified information

Software Engineer Sr Stf
Join our team as a Software IPT Lead for the FBM Tactical team where you will be involved in planning and executing avionics work scope and program execution. This position is not eligible for teleworking; the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton or Englewood, CO, and will be expected to work in the office full‑time.
As a Software IPT Lead and CAM, you will support the LE2 Program for Avionics using strong software engineering skills to work with all project partners and define the future for FBM.
Key Activities- Lead, budget, and manage cost/schedule/technical performance.
- Effectively manage project performance (schedule, cost, and technical).
- Coordinate and establish work lanes for incoming/outgoing program needs.
- Support staffing and resource updates.
- Coordinate with the LE2 Product Team to balance resource requirements through IPT management.
- Experience leading software projects, teams, and development efforts.
- Experience as a CAM.
- Eight or more years of professional experience relevant to this role.
- Documentation for obtaining and maintaining a DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- SCRUM Master certification.
- Baseline control experience and Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.
- Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve sophisticated problems and implement constructive change.
- Experience in project management principles (cost, schedule, technical).
- Experience using JIRA or Version 1 or similar tools for project planning and tracking.
- Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering.
- Active clearance.
Littleton or Englewood, CO. This position requires onsite full‑time work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Security ClearanceSecret. U.S. Citizenship is required for consideration.

Pay RateThe annual base salary range for this position in Colorado is $134,000 - $236,325. The range may vary based on the final work location.
